Before you buy...

A word about standard sizes…vendors usually keep in inventory "stock cartons" that are really just their best sellers. So stock for one vendor may not be stock for another vendor. It also means you will get much better pricing on "stock cartons" vs. "custom" because they are bought in large volume.

Some people buy large volumes at one time, others utilize smaller amounts more frequently and still others only ship their item periodically. Any way you look at it...getting a good price on your shipping boxes comes down to buying in volume. The more you can buy at once the better the price!

This is true even for the small business owners who only ship once in a while. If you can utilize a "stock carton" from a vendor then you are buying in at their volume pricing.

So don't think that your only option is to buy from the big retail office supply store. Even the big shipping supply distributors will sell to you in small quantities!

Finally, consider how many shipping boxes you need and whether you want a custom size and printing, or will a standard size carton work just fine…this greatly effects the pricing.
